Interesting fact

The inscription on the Mirror of Erised reads "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi" which, when read backwards, means: "I show not your face but your heart's desire".

Interestingly, Erised read backwards is "Desire". Amazing, isn't it?

Hey guys! How're you all doing? Do you know which is the most dangerous magical creature? Is it the dragon? No! Is the Acromantula? Nope! It isn't even the basilisk! ( although all three are pretty dangerous). It's actually the Nudu. According to Fantastic beasts and where to find them ( written by Newt Scamander), "This East African beast is arguably the most dangerous in the world. A gigantic leopard that moves silently despite its size and whose breath causes disease virulent enough to eliminate entire villages, it has never yet been subdued by fewer than a hundred skilled wizards working together." Just Wow! Entire villages! Wow!

Buy your copy of Fantastic beasts and where to find them ( a Harry Potter side book written by JK Rowling) now. Just click here.

Interesting fact

Alfonso Cuarón wanted Watson, Radcliffe, and Grint to write essays about their characters from a first person point of view. According to Heyman, “they all responded very much in character … Dan wrote a page, Emma wrote 10 and Rupert didn't deliver anything.” Grint told Entertainment Weekly, “I didn't do mine, because I didn't think Ron would. Or that was my excuse. At the time, I was actually quite busy with the real schoolwork involved with my exams, and I just didn't do it. But in the end, it felt right because that's what Ron would have done.”

Interesting fact

Rowling’s publisher suggested she use initials rather than her real name, “Joanne Rowling,” in order to appeal to male readers. She chose J.K., borrowing the “K” from her grandmother’s name, Kathleen. However, neither “Kathleen” nor “K” is part of her legal name.
